  Wanted to buy Christmas wrapping paper today. There was a box near the entrance full of it with a sign saying "Buy One Get One Free" and on the box was another sign saying £1. So i got 4 rolls and went to the till to be served. The young girl behind the counter looked like it was my fault she had to work on a Sunday! So i had the money ready £2 and 5p as i needed a bag. She put them through and asked for £4 and 5p. I told her she was wrong and pointed to the box and told her they are £1 buy one get one free. She looked a bit peeved and stated that not all of them were £1. I pointed AGAIN to the box with the £1 sign. She said but these ones (blue and red foil) were £2. At this point I was starting to get peeved. I said well i dont want them just give the 2 other ones.By this time an older woman came behind the counter and the girl told her what happened. The older woman didnt even make eye contact or speak to me,she just said to the girl i will cover over the £1 sign and off she went. The girl turned to me and said "The sign is being covered over so as not to "confuse" other customers"!! I said "confuse customers? I am not confused,the sign clearly states that the paper is £1 a roll and buy one get one free" I did not want to make a scene because i was very angry by this time and would have really let rip. I bought the 2 rolls of paper and left without even getting an apology. As soon as i left the shop i realised i had given her £2 instead of £1 as i only bought 2 rolls of paper so i went straight back in and told the same girl. Her reply was "well they are £2 a roll as well. I had to walk out because my blood was boiling. So left feeling upset,angry and ripped off!! Not even a sorry?? Well i WILL NOT be returning to THAT shop again!!
